I live in the area of mount pleasant and davisville and went for my morning stroll to the patisserie and saw a sign in front of this salon for 50% off facials. i went in to check it out and had the choice of 4 facials all at the discount. i had the hydrating facial. i loved it. the esthetician was so amazing and educated me on what i needed to do to keep my skin hydrated. the skin care line, embryolisse, i learned is gwynth paltrow's favorite and bought their mask, toner and moisturizer. after my hair was all gunky, i was offered a discounted blow out on my hair. such a great start to my saturday.

I bought my first Groupon Now coupon for an hour long facial. The young lady was very good, quiet, professional and attentive. I received a hand massage during my mask which was particularly nice. One of the best facials I've ever had. Strong recommendation.

I went into Do My Hair last weekend for my birthday and I had a really great experience. The salon is a smaller space, but it felt very warm and welcoming. The staff were great and friendly and I was treated like a celeb. After going in for a wash and a blow dry, I never realized they had esthetics, too so I got a quick brow touch up. When I was finished the young makeup artist asked if I was up for a little makeup. Who says no? My only rule was I didn't want to look pancake-faced: she assured me I wouldn't. She told me to trust her and let her work her magic--did she ever. She said I looked "retro" so she gave me a liquid cat-liner and a bold, wine lip. I felt like a sexy-vamp! (my husband even liked, it too). Wonderful experience all around, I am definitely going back!

I recently went to the salon Do My Hair on Mount Pleasant Rd. and had such a pleasant experience. I had went in to get my hair done for my husband's companys fundraiser. I asked for "big, bombshell hair"-coming from a woman who never does everything more than putting her hair into a bun- I was a little nervous. Anyways, after the stylist was done (she was a blonde) my hair was great. I also saw a makeup artist applying makeup and luckily, she could squeeze me in. I showed her a picture of Heidi Klum (kind of smokey) and it was perfect. I do not think I have ever felt so amazing in my life. On my way out I saw a very cute accessory from a brand CC SKye-a very hip bracelet. What a great little shop!
